Responsibilities:
- Apply process dynamics competence in the design, implementation, commissioning, and service of control systems for oil & gas production systems
- Improve the efficiency and quality of our work processes
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
- PLC programming & HMI design
- Establish system design, implement and document the solutions according to customer’s requirements
- Provide technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities
- Technical leadership for experienced applicants
- Engineering of automation solutions for offshore and land based industry projects on ABB control systems 800xA
- Participate in installation and commissioning
- Install and setup of IT-infrastructure for automation systems
For experienced applicants:
- Technical leadership
- Technical sales support
Your background:
- Minimum 4 years of experience related experience
- Experience with Advant or project work on Gullfaks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and/or a technical vocational diploma in automation or a related field
- Ability to identify simple and practical solutions to complex problems
