Located in the heart of Surnadal, Frich's Hotel Surnadal is surrounded by the spectacular mountains and fjords of Western Norway. With Trollheimen National Park on one side and the scenic Fjord Route on the other, the hotel is a natural destination for both travelers and locals.

 

The hotel has recently undergone a major renovation, including a brand-new reception area, restaurant, kitchen, and conference facilities. Today, it offers a modern and welcoming environment where quality, comfort, and guest satisfaction are at the center of everything we do.

 

At Restaurant HØST, we celebrate Nordic food traditions through carefully selected ingredients, seasonal menus, and authentic flavors. We believe great meals bring people together, and we strive to create experiences that make our guests feel truly welcome.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for hotel and restaurant guests

• Ensure consistency, presentation, and quality in every service

• Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings

• Follow HACCP procedures and maintain high hygiene standards

• Assist with food preparation, ordering, and kitchen organization

• Work closely with colleagues in both the kitchen and front-of-house teams

• Help create exceptional dining experiences for our guests

Who We Are Looking For

• Previous experience as a chef, cook, or culinary professional

• Culinary certification is an advantage, but relevant experience is also valued

• Passion for food, quality ingredients, and guest satisfaction

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

• Flexible, reliable, and willing to contribute wherever needed
