🚐 Vehicle Technician / Fleet Maintenance Agent

Arctic Campers AS is looking for a skilled and versatile Vehicle Technician / Fleet Maintenance Agent to join our team in Tromso, Kvaloya.

You will play a key role in maintaining and preparing our fleet of camper vans to ensure they meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and quality.

This is a hands-on position combining mechanical maintenance, vehicle systems work, tyre management, and camper van conversions.

🔧 Responsibilities

As part of the fleet team, you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance, servicing, and repair of company vehicles and camper vans

• Mechanical work including engines, transmissions, wheel assemblies, and related components.

• Managing the tyre system together with the Fleet Manager, including:

  • Inspection schedules

  • Replacement planning

  • Seasonal tyre management

• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle or camper vans electrical systems

• Working with auxiliary batteries, electrical installations, and gas systems

• Supporting camper van conversion and modification projects

• Preparing and fitting new vans for operational use

• Ensuring vehicles meet company quality and safety standards

• Collaborating closely with the Fleet Manager on maintenance planning and repairs

✅ Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in vehicle mechanics or automotive maintenance

• Is comfortable working on mechanical, electrical, and technical vehicle systems

• Has experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting

• Is organized and capable of managing maintenance schedules

• Is practical, adaptable, and solution-oriented

• Can work independently while coordinating with the fleet manager

• Has a valid driving licence

Experience with camper vans, RV systems, auxiliary electrical systems, or gas installations is a strong advantage.
