Specialist Psychiatrist – Northern Norway
We are looking for a specialist psychiatrist for a permanent position in Northern Norway.
You will join a well-functioning outpatient clinic and work closely with an experienced team. The region is known for its relaxed pace of life, strong professional environments, and supportive colleagues.
Your role
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions
- Contribute actively to interdisciplinary collaboration and treatment planning
- Supervise junior doctors and support internal training
- Take part in developing the service and improving clinical practice
Qualifications
- European medical authorization and specialist certification in psychiatry
- Good English skills and motivation to learn Norwegian (language training provided)
- Solid clinical competence and ability to work independently
