Arctic Campers AS is looking for a skilled mechanic to join our workshop team in Tromsø. We are looking for a hands-on, reliable, and positive team player who enjoys working on both vehicles and camper van systems.
The role includes servicing and repairing cars and camper vans, as well as maintaining and repairing camper conversions, including electrical systems, water systems, heating systems, furniture, and other camper equipment.
We are looking for a full-time employee with the possibility of long-term employment.
Educational and Skill Requirements

Qualified car mechanic (vocational education or equivalent)

Experience as a car mechanic

Experience with camper vans or recreational vehicles is an advantage

Good command of English

Valid Category B driver's license (BE license is an advantage)

Independent and quality-focused working style

Positive attitude, honesty, and ability to work well in a team
Main Responsibilities

Service, maintenance, and repair of cars and camper vans

Diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical faults

Maintenance and repair of camper van conversion systems

Installation and repair of camper equipment and accessories

Tire changes, including mounting and balancing tires both on and off rims

Preparing vehicles for rental

Quality inspections before and after rentals

Other workshop-related tasks as required
Working Hours
You will work 5 days per week , with 7.5 working hours per day and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Arctic Campers AS welcomes applications from both Norwegian residents and international candidates.

EU/EEA citizens: We will assist with the necessary paperwork required to register and work legally in Norway.
