For one of our clients in the seafood industry, DB Partner is looking for a Quality Assistant to join the production team.
This is a practical, hands-on role combining work in a modern food-production environment with daily quality and food-safety controls. You do not need to be an experienced quality specialist, but you should be accurate, responsible, comfortable using digital systems, and able to understand why food-safety procedures are important.
For the right person, this is a great opportunity to gain experience within quality and food safety in the seafood industry.
As a Quality Assistant, you will work closely with both the production and quality teams. A large part of the job takes place directly in the production environment.
Your tasks may include:
You will receive training in the procedures and systems used at the factory.
We are primarily looking for someone who is reliable, observant and able to think independently.
You should:
Norwegian language skills are not required.
Education or previous experience within food production, food technology, quality control, laboratory work, HACCP or food safety is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. Relevant training will be provided.
You are the type of person who notices when something is different, asks questions when you are unsure and understands that when working with food, details matter.
You do not need to know everything from the first day. What matters is that you are willing to learn, can use common digital tools and take the responsibility of quality and food-safety checks seriously.
Working hours: Shift work – flexibility is required
